Football festival!!

Today was the end of our sessions with Sandra, the awesome football coach!!  We finished off by playing against rooms 9 and 20, in a series of short games that we rotated around.  The class have really developed their skills this term, and we have some very talented young footballers in our class!!

   

Room 19s Arcade is open!!

What an exciting day!! Our class arcade was opened today.... we had a great turnout and everyone had a great time!!!

We have started a great collection of canned food and toys that we will be paying forward at the end of the week.

Our arcade has begun...

We have started work on our class arcade, which links with our class inquiry unit.  It is a work in progress, and we hope the arcade will be ready for people to use next week!!

Maths - Position and Orientation

We are learning about half and quarter turns in our strand maths lessons with Mrs Mayston.  Watch how well we are getting the hang of it!!

Indoor Games

And we are about to have a go at digital games....

Football sessions....

If you weren't already aware, the Kapua and Ruahine teams have been having football training sessions for the past few weeks.  We have a few more sessions to go, but the coach has already noticed a difference in the classes football skills - well done team!
